Cyber Security Analyst

About Us: We are a leading staffing company, dedicated to connecting talented professionals with exceptional opportunities. Currently, we are partnering with a regional healthcare organization that operates multiple hospitals and clinics. They are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, support cyber security solutions and assessing risks.

Responsibilities:

• Serves as an entry-level information security consultant, identifying security gaps, and providing support to the organization.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of security Policies, Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participates in activities to enhance information security awareness within the organization.
• Performs information security risk assessments, including 3rd party risk assessments, as tasked or under supervision of higher-level staff.
• Analyze and investigate security events to support the security incident response process.
• Participate in daily security operations by monitoring systems and configuring security tools, while reviewing vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities effectively.
• Provides training to the cybersecurity team in security tools and adherence to security best practices.
• Stays informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and evolving technologies to continually strengthen the organization’s security stance.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Security Engineers to fine-tune security tools and engage with various internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve security processes and posture.
• Perform other duties as assigned, showing flexibility and adaptability to changing organizational needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, along with industry certification like CompTIA Security+ or 2-4 years equivalent experience
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
