Inside Sales Support Administrator

FLEXTECHS is seeking an Inside Sales Support Administrator to provide sales and administrative support within the Sales Organization, Procurement, and Flextechs Internal Technical Support teams. The primary focus of this role is to initiate and provide day to day support of all quoting and order management activities. Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role as well as the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below.



  • Accurately respond to customer requirements within the stated time frames (requests for quotes, order processing, product information, order tracking details)   
  • Ability to use vendor and distribution tools to configure servers, storage arrays, network switches, etc.
  • Maintain and develop product knowledge and vendor certifications to maximize efficiency
  • Have working knowledge of the deal registration process across all manufacturers
  • Utilize vendor partner portals for registrations and configurations
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of manufacturer products and services (i.e. Dell/EMC, Microsoft, Lenovo, VMware, VEEAM, etc.) and be able to position solutions successfully
  • Leverage relationships with vendors to remain up to date on all promotions and vendor pricing programs (i.e., State contracts, rebates, and vendor registration programs)
  • Update opportunities and tickets into CRM system
  • Maintain software and maintenance contract renewals for new and existing customers
  • Be the liaison between sales, purchasing, and vendors regarding maintenance contract issues
  • Assist procurement with negotiating pricing, product sourcing, vendor PO creation, and RMA processing


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience within the IT industry)
  • Minimum of two years sales and/or sales support experience in the IT industry   
  • Knowledge of computers/networking and the IT industry as a whole
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Highly motivated individual with very strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and adapt easily to change
  • Excellent customer service and support skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and perform work in a timely manner   
  • Strong capability to multi-task and perform duties with urgency
  • Ability to participate as a team member in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Aptitude for learning technology
